Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Joker Radar ("the station", "we") handles personal information collected through temavoris.website. The station is operated from Perth, Western Australia, and handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The short version: the station collects almost nothing, sells nothing, and treats your inbox with the respect it wishes app stores treated its own.
1. What we collect
The station collects personal information only when you actively send it through one of the site's channels:
- General transmissions: your name or callsign, email address, and message content.
- Game submissions: the game details you provide, your stated relationship to the game, and any contact details included.
- Corrections: the report reference, your email address, optional credit name, and the correction text.
- Frequency report subscriptions: your email address alone.

2. Why we collect it
Each category has exactly one purpose: replying to transmissions, evaluating submitted games, verifying and crediting corrections, and delivering the frequency report. The station does not build profiles, does not enrich data from third-party sources, and does not use your information for advertising of any kind.
3. Storage and security
Correspondence lives in the station's email account and a private, access-controlled log. Subscription addresses live with the station's email delivery provider, selected for its compliance with Australian and international data protection standards. Reasonable technical measures — encrypted connections, two-factor authentication, and a healthy sysadmin's paranoia — protect all of it. Data is retained only as long as its single purpose requires: correspondence for up to two years, subscription addresses until you unsubscribe.
4. Disclosure
The station discloses personal information to no one, with three narrow exceptions: service providers that process email on the station's behalf, situations where Australian law requires disclosure, and correction credits — where the name you explicitly choose is published alongside the addendum. If you file a correction anonymously, it stays anonymous.
5. Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may request access to the personal information the station holds about you, request correction of inaccurate information, and request deletion. Unsubscribing from the frequency report takes one click in any edition. For anything else, send a transmission via the signal page or email [email protected]. Requests are answered within 30 days, usually much faster.
If you believe the station has mishandled your information and its response does not resolve the matter, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
6. Third-party links
Scan reports link to games hosted on external stores and portals. Those destinations run their own privacy regimes, over which this station has zero control and about which it is frequently unimpressed. Read their policies before creating accounts.
7. Children
The station's content is suitable for general audiences, but its contact channels are not directed at children under 15. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, email the station and it will be deleted from the log.
8. Changes
Material changes to this policy are announced in the frequency report and stamped with a new revision date above. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
